One Pot Cheeseburger Casserole

Week night dinners just became a little less crazy with this one pot dinner option. Everyone loves a good cheeseburger and a good pasta dish. What better way than to combine the two and make one dish. Not only will this dish be a throwback to the childhood Hamburger Helper days but it will also serve as an easy as 1-2-3 dinner to throw together for the family!







Ingredients

  • 4 c. Shredded Cheddar Cheese

  • 2lb. Ground Beef

  • 1 Yellow Onion, diced

  • 4 Cloves Garlic, minced

  • 4 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce

  • 6 oz. Tomato Paste

  • 32 oz.. Beef Broth

  • 2(16 oz.) Bags of Cavatappi Pasta

  • 16 oz. Sour Cream

  • 1 c. Whole Milk

  • Salt & Pepper, to taste


Instructions

  • In a large pot over medium heat, cook and crumble the ground beef adding in the diced onions.

  • Add in the minced garlic.

  • Add in the Worcestershire sauce and the tomato paste, stirring until well combined.

  • Add the beef broth and pasta, stirring until well combine, let it simmer over medium to low heat.

  • Cover the pot for 5 minutes.

  • After 5 minutes uncover the pot to stir, replace the cover to cook for 5 more minutes.

  • Reduce the heat to low.

  • Stir in the sour cream and milk.

  • Add in 2 cups of shredded cheese, mixing until well combined.

  • Once the cheese has melted add in the remaining 2 cups of shredded cheese.

  • Cover for an additional 5 minutes for the cheese to melt.

  • Enjoy!
